There are a few games in the last few years that I Insist the major populous play and Counter-Strike is one of them. CS was the pinnacle of online mutiplayer gaming from 1999 on, fps or not. This game changed the way people play online. Valve has developed a very good "copy" of this on to the new HL2 source engine.The graphics are very crips, clear and genuine. The game play is almost the exact same, Really its not as good as the final patched version of the original counter-strike(1.6) but it does bring the genre, and the game itself into the new high end level of gaming that pc builders and fps junkies will love. It adds new, and memorible maps, and a few features that help the game evolove into a sold sequal. Will it stop you from play CS(1.6) for 6 hours a day, no, However it is as much as we could have hoped for in the evolution of the seriers. Truth be told, if you dont like CS:S... you dont like FPS.
Tactical Ops is what you get when you breathe some fresh new air into counter-strike. The Graphics are better, and it relys on skill alone. Though it may not have the weapon variety that counter-strike mods have, it gives the player over 16 real world weapons to chose from (even though they dont have all the proper names). By the way, if you are big on weapon realism, this game has the most realistic gun modles, sounds, and speed that I have ever seen, besides the fact that the M16 comes with 30 rounds instead of 20, but the AK47 is fast and acurate, which it is in the real world, and the Uzi is extremely fast, everything that seems as if it should move on the guns move. there are adjustable speeds and you can even set the bots to auto skill adjust, so you dont have to quit the game to make them harder or easier.Overall, this game shines on every aspect, even though the amount of weapons is broad, you still want to experiment with more, this game is the most realistic game when it comes to gun models, and realism, a definate MUST BUY for any fan of tactical, team based or first person shooting.
Call of Duty 4 is one of the Greatest games ever made by far!!! The single player campaign is great but short. But the online play makes up for it. the game has 2 story lines 1 is a member of a SAS Special Ops Team and the other is a US Marine. Both are fighting terrorist in the middle east. The game also features a big variety of modern weapons and Attachments. In online there is a custom class where you can choose weapons and there attachments. There is also a ranking system where you can unlock more weapons and attachments to. Mods are real cool to especially the zombie mods. you can download a mod tool where you can make your own mods but it is hard to get working (or at least it is for me). The standard online has several maps to play and the modes are free for all and team deathmatch (there are several other modes 2 which are like team death match but with objectives and stuff of the like). thats all i have to say about this awesome game!!!!!
Hats off to EA-Games this is the best 1st person shooter ever produced..perfect game i'm speech less..just a small bit of advice to the competition "give it up,you'll never produce a game like this one" Medal of Honor Allied assault..the rest are just want to be's...Haha.The graphics are just what you need meaning you don't have to go out and buy an expensive video card to play it,the tech support is great, i mean just one patch is all you need ..Amazing! Is this game worth keeping on the shelf at the stores for sale YES! is it worth every cent you spend on it? YES!
if you`ve been holding out for the maximum expression of a shooter game, then do not deny yourself this experience any longer, and see what you`ve been missing.UT 2004 is a very impresive and engaging shooter, and it is a superior follow-up to one of the greatest an recognized PC games since Quake arena come out to the public.This game combine every single aspect that you want in these game type, because you can blow out your contestant`s head while you are driving a tank, jeep, delizator, space ship, and other things.His creators really thinked in everything that you can imagine, in a personal opinion, i can not stop to play it and never in the last two year it turned boring and monotony.I encourage the new Unreal Tournament players to take the time to know this fabulous game and to invite your friends to play it and in this way make UT a that popular game as halo and half life because it worts the time.My congratulations an thanks to the creators of this marvelous game.
This game has changed the way soccer looks and feels. This game has really included all new functions such as 'Track Records' and a longer gameplay for increased fun. The all-new 'Master League' popularity for teams and players makes it really fun, not also that but each event that happens on the game is spectacular. This game will be a huge impact and an instant classic for anyone who has followed this saga since PSX and even those who have been after this wonderful game since SNES. A little disadvantage is maybe the goalkeepers have terrible strenght... anyone over 80 in shot power will sit down and defeat any goalkeeper. Even though... this game is a perfect 10/10... much better than FIFA 08, that although the new functions, will never have this crisp and heavenly gameplay. Old-school and newbies will have a crack at this game... what are you waiting for to play this game!
Wow! This game is amazing. Better than many racing games you must pay for. The world-wide ranking system is amazing! It has great graphics, but yet is able to be played on low-end PCs. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys racing. The solo-play tracks are highly addictive.The global races with other real-players sometimes gets a bit laggy due to the large amount of people playing at a time. However this can be remedied by turning off Opponents ("O" by default). Great game, especially since its free! :D If you want even more action you can buy United Forever for 39.99 or pay 24.99 for a 6month subscription.Play this! Even if you are not into racing games, I'm sure you will find this one amazing! Try it and if you really like it, buy the paid version to support us free players :D .Oh, there is an awesome track and car editor/painter included! It rocks!
Plenty of cars, part up-grades, great handling, graphics, plenty of different style races, huge free-roam environment to get 'er up to top speed. Not to mention all the cops that will be chasing you if you are in a car that is on there wanted list. If so just change the color of your car or just go to your garage a jump in one of your other cars that they're not looking for. But don't break any laws or they'll come after your other rides too. This game has everything all the other NFS games have and more. I could go on.. and on...Let me finish by saying buy this game it's all you'll need until they come out with it's equal. NFS PROSTREET SUCKS! The only thing good about it is the graphics. Get NFS MOST WANTED! It's da bomb! Trust me!
Best Game that I have ever Played. I will keep playing it until I get sick and tired of it. I have been playing it ever since it came out and I am still playing it. I class it as one of the best stratagy games that has ever been brought out. Thank you Ensomble for finaly bringing out a game that I like to play. I like so much that I have now started to collect the whole series, right from The Rise of Rome right through to the Age of Empires II, The Age of Kings. Both the Collectors Edition and the Gold Edition, and now I have started on The Age of Empires III games wich I find just as good.
The fact that you have established boundaries when you take over an area, the fact that the game has 15 epoch's with 12 researchable tech's each level, upgrades to your unit's, special unit's, special ability's, regional abilities makes the game just immense, you can try and crush your enemy quickly, you can play defence and then crush there army of knights with an heavy stealth bomber.The game can be so fun to play on your own, in multiplayer, with the add-on you can make your own race to play as you wish and different races are a lot more suited for different situations (e.g. British more suited to Naval where as Turkish more suited to defence)same as regions have different benefits (such as west gets tech quicker where as the middle east has the lost city ability.) .One of the down sides to the games is that during the battle all the unit's can mash into one giant blob on the map and a giant moving blob on the screen, which I suppose is how life would really be during the heat of a major battle with mace men, swords men, spear men etc but it's not helpful when playing the game!!!
